COML 505: Digital Storytelling

I am a firm believer that personal style is a creative expression of a person's identity. And as such, exploring our style should be delighted in and embraced!

That said, maintaining this ever-evolving exhibition-of-self has led society to embrace products and practices that have led to complex and detrimental effects on our planet. Worse, the severity of these issues (and often-times the existence of the issues themselves) are widely unknown to the common fashion consumer.

But hope is not lost, Friend!

Here I am offering a few simple shifts to simultaneously satiate our passion for fashion as well as lessen the impact our shopping habits have on the world.

I've included links to a few of my favorite shopping spots and services, along with some quick access to information surrounding the serious state of the earth due to harmful fashion consumption conventions and detrimental practices of the global fashion industry as a whole.

I hope you try them out!
