While watching a Disney-Live-with-the-Little-Mermaid sing-along special on TV I could not contain myself. Joy, inspiration, and visions of a spot-lit future pulsed through my four-year-old body. Dragging my mom to the screen, I declared: “I want to do that.” I knew at that moment, with certainty, I was destined for the stage.
I went on to spend over a decade performing professionally in regional theaters across the country, touring North America three times, and working in film and television productions from scrappy no-budget indies to large network studios.
